Join me for a 4-mile hike along Kauai’s southern coastline. Along the way, I’ll share insights about the island’s plants, wildlife, history, archaeology, and culture.
We’ll start at Shipwrecks Beach, where you’ll often see weddings, surfers, and even cliff jumpers. The cliffs we’ll walk on top of remind me of Greece’s white seaside cliffs. From there, we’ll pass over and along secluded beaches, a world-class golf course, an ironwood forest, and an ancient Hawaiian heiau.
We’ll also visit one of the most unique places in Hawaii: Makauwahi Cave, the largest limestone cave in the islands. It’s the richest fossil site in Hawaii and an exceptionally well-preserved archaeological treasure.
I’ll bring and carry cold coconut water, Gatorade, and bottled water to keep you hydrated.
$285 covers the first guest, and it’s $15 for each additional person. Max group size: 7. The tour is 4-5 hours.
